Homelessness Prevention

Our allocation policy is focused on homeless prevention and securing settled housing for homeless households as quickly as possible.

Where possible we will prevent homelessness by working with applicants using the housing options approach. We are committed to our duty to accommodate homeless applicants under Section 5 of the Housing (Scotland) Act 2001. We work in partnership with Glasgow City Council to assist in meeting the statutory responsibilities including Housing First and the Rapid Rehousing Transition Plan.
