Welcome to Find My Home. New property adverts start on Wednesdays at 12pm (lunch time) and run to the following Wednesday at 12pm.

Find My Home to offer more choice

We have been advertising our empty homes on the Find My Home website since September 2021. This has proved to be very popular as our available homes are advertised for everyone to see.

We are delighted to let you know that Find My Home is expanding.  Maryhill Housing Association, a second community based landlord with homes to rent in Maryhill and Ruchill, is joining Find My Home on 3rd June 2024.

This is good news for people who are looking to rent in the North West of Glasgow, as they can now complete one application on www.findmyhome.org.uk and will be registered with both Queens Cross Housing Association and Maryhill Housing Association.

Maryhill Housing Association will also advertise their available properties on the Find My Home website, which increases the number of properties available for applicants to bid for.

When Queens Cross or Maryhill housing association have an available property, we will place an advert on www.findmyhome.org.uk. The advert will run for a period of one week, from Wednesday at 12pm (lunchtime) to the following Wednesday at 12pm. The advert will detail the property location, property type and size, details of the property features and will include photographs and other important information. It will clearly state which housing association the property belongs to.  Applicants who are interested in the property can place a bid. When the property advert ends, the relevant housing association receives a list of everyone who has bid for the property, sorted in order of their suitability for the property and housing priority and will offer the property to the first suitable applicant on the list.

I am already registered on Find My Home, so what does this mean for me?

As you are already registered on Find My Home there is nothing that you need to do.

On 3rd June 2024 your application will automatically cover both housing associations and you will be able to bid for any property advertised.

If you are currently separately registered with Maryhill Housing Association, we will check your priority start date on that application.  If your priority start date with Maryhill is earlier than your priority band start date on your Find My Home application, we will backdate this, so your time registered with Maryhill is recognised.

I am currently registered with Maryhill Housing Association but do not have a Find My Home application yet, what do I need to do?

Maryhill Housing will launch Find My Home on 3rd June 2024. After this date, applicants will be able to register online by visiting www.findmyhome.org.uk and clicking on the ‘Register button.

Although applicants will be asked to complete a new application form, so that all of their information is up-to-date, they will keep their original application date so that they are not starting from scratch and the time that they have already been registered with Maryhill Housing Association is recognised.
